In the 1990’s hand phone was a luxury where not many can afford. Games were limited and the internet was just a myth. There were no Facebook, Instagram or Clash of Clans. Here are some of our nostalgic memories from the 1990's.
With a simple maths book, we could entertain ourselves for hours with “dots” and “crosses”.
Who remembers the one hit wonder of Tamagotchi, where you could have your own digital pet in an egg shaped device.
Erasers with flags on them were not for the normal stationary use. We use them to see who had the best “tossing skill”.
4) Game Consoles
In the time where there were no Clash of Clans or Candy Crush. This would be our best friend. And it has “Wide Screen”.
5) Laser Discs
Before Bluray, DVD and VCD, it all started with Laser Discs. They were big and expensive. Most of the people would have rented the Laser Discs to watch.
Music was hard to come by. There were no MP3, no internet, no YouTube. We could however purchase a cassette to listen to our favourite boy bands.
It was not considered a fashion statement. Spectacles was only worn when absolutely needed.
8) Prime Minister
The Prime Minister was much more respected then.
9) Camera with Negatives
There were no phones with cameras. The only cameras we had were the ones with negatives and it had to be developed.
Movies back then had not much special effects.
