After suffering miscarriages in 2010 and 2011, Beyoncé finally became pregnant with her daughter, Blue Ivy, in 2012. After the birth of Blue Ivy, Beyoncé didn’t wait long to get back to the studio and start recording. She also didn’t wait long to get back into shape.
4) She has been working hard to be famous since she was a kid
Beyoncé had the dream of being a performer and performing live on stage since she was a little girl. She wanted to be like her idols, Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. Her father saw the potential in her and started training her from a young age. She attended all kinds of lessons to make sure that she was ready to be part of the entertainment industry.

Rumour has it that Beyoncé and Jay Z first started dating after they collaborated in the song “Bonnie & Clyde” in 2002. They quietly dated for 6 years before tying the knot in a private ceremony in 2008. By getting together and being a couple, Beyoncé and Jay Z’s fame and popularity soared and they became the power couple of the music industry.
6) She fired her dad as her manager
Beyoncé’s dad, Mathew Knowles, has been managing her career since she stepped in the music industry. It came as a shock to many people when Beyoncé made the decision to fire him as her manager in 2011. Beyoncé claimed that it was deeper and professional issues that caused a rift between them while others claimed that it was because her dad cheated on her mum and fathered a child with someone else.
7) She releases songs after songs
Since she made her debut as a solo artist in 2003, Beyoncé has managed to release 5 albums with another one releasing soon in 2016. She has also been promoting her songs around the world with more than 7 world tours that have happened in the last 13 years.
8) She is always touring
After having done over 13 world tours, Beyoncé has recently announced that she will be touring North America and Europe to promote her upcoming album in 2016. Beyoncé is probably the only singer to have toured the world as many times as she did to promote her music.
9) She likes to keep a clean reputation
Despite the myth that being in the news for all reasons is good publicity, Beyoncé likes to have a good image for herself and her brand. She stays far away from any controversy that might destroy her music career. As a result, she’s very polite and diplomatic in public.
10) She changed herself to be accepted by this generation
In her own words, Beyoncé claims that she’s very shy. This is why she created the ‘Sasha Fierce’ persona that helps her be someone else on stage when she’s performing. She felt that the audience wouldn’t accept her as she is because she thinks she’s too bland and shy to be out there. This is exactly why she prefers to be someone else on stage to give her fans a good time when they come to her shows.
