A series of polls were conducted on Pollbook to find out what Malaysians prefer when it comes to car selection. From type of cars to colour of cars, this article reveals them all.
1) Malaysians think reliability of a car matters the most
In contrary to what most people think, looks of a car does not matter the most for Malaysians. According to this poll conducted by Pollbook, 71% of the people look for reliability when it comes to choosing a car. This is followed by Fuel Efficiency at 14%, Looks at 9%, and Price at 6%. Guess what, speed does not matter at all.
4) Price of petrol matters more than price of car

5) Malaysians prefer Perodua than Proton when it comes to choosing a value-for-money car

6) In terms of popularity, Honda has a slight edge over Toyota
There is no doubt the Japanese car brands have established themselves well enough in Malaysia. But is it Honda or Toyota? This poll reveals Honda has a slight edge over Toyota with 62% of the respondents choosing Honda. What say you? You still can vote here.
7) BMW and Mercedes are no longer the king and queen of the road
Gone were those days that the competition was just between BMW and Mercedes. Audi took over both by surprise basing on the result of this poll. Out of 124 respondents, 43% were fans of Audi. BMW ranked 2nd while Mercedes ranked 3rd.
