How To Know You Are Not Living A Miserable Life

Many of us complain about how bad our lives are. But how well do we know what it’s like to be miserable? If we have the capacity to fulfill most of the points below, perhaps it’s time to be positive and grateful.


1) You have enough food to consume

Many people in this world do not have sufficient food to be full, while many others suffer from post-holiday food blues after special occasions and festive holidays.

2) You have a comfortable shelter to live

There are many homeless people in this world who do not have a proper shelter that provides warmth to them during cold weather and dry during rainy days.

3) You have a healthy body

Some people are born with ailments that prevents them from living a life as freely as us. They may need to stay in the hospital at least once in a week or worse, living in the hospital for their entire lives.

5) You have both hands and legs with you

You are considered very lucky to have both hands and legs with you. There are unfortunate people in this world who are born without both hands and legs which makes their life much more difficult.

5) You have enough earning to spend on your basic needs

In some parts of the world, a day’s wages may only be enough for a pail of clean water for their family for a day, some even worst. Be thankful that clean water is easily accessible in our country.

6) You have family members

Our families are most often the pillar of strength and support for most of our lives. There are people less fortunate who wishe that they have at least a family member that they can count on.

7) You are able to sleep more than 6 hours a day

Do you know that there are some people in this world who only sleeps for 2 hours or less a day? If you have more than 6 hours of sleep, be grateful.

Sometimes it is easy to seem that the entire world is against us when things do not go our way. However, we should be reminded that life cannot always be a bed of roses and it is through tough times, we learn to appreciate the good times. Learn to be grateful always, as nothing is an entitlement and every thing can be easily taken away from us in the next moment.
