2) Visit the PD Ostrich Show Farm

Ostriches may have been the major attraction here. But they are not the only animals you see here since PD Ostrich Show Farm also has others like hedgehogs, rabbits and guinea pigs. Ideal for a fun family outing, you get to feed the ostriches and yes, even race with them. You can also try to stand on an ostrich egg and get to know how durable it is. 3) Soak Up the Sun at Blue Lagoon

Port Dickson is home to many beaches and one of them worth visiting includes the Blue Lagoon a.k.a. Pantai Tanjung Biru. Immerse in the breathtaking sight of the bay and not to forget, the surrounding lush greenery. Take a stroll along the sandy beach and you get to spot the likes of monkeys and squirrels since Blue Lagoon happens to be situated near the forest reserve. Or enjoy a swim in the calm, glistening water. You can also set up a picnic or even camping here.

4) Enjoy a Nature Getaway at PD Forest Sungai Menyala

Get in touch with nature at PD Forest Sungai Menyala, spanning over 1,280 hectares, which is also home to among the largest lowland Dipterocarp forests in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. You can enjoy hiking or jungle trekking here with three main trails available in the forest reserve. There’s a building here showcasing the Orang Asli exhibition gallery and if you are planning to stay overnight, they have rooms and dormitories available.

5) Immerse Yourself in Alive 3D Art Gallery

The name of the art gallery says it all, displaying over 50 interactive paintings and optical illusions in their 3D glory. Explore five different themes as you enter the Adventure Zone, Aquarium Zone, Animation Zone, Exotic Zone and Dark Art. The latter turns out to be the first of its kind ever seen in Malaysia. It’s a good place to have fun with your loved one, friends or family while taking photos or videos.

7) Cool Yourself at PD Famous Cendol Coconut Shake

Just as the name suggests, this place is famous for its cendol varieties and coconut shakes. And given our country’s increasingly erratic weather these days, such a place is a haven for many visitors. They have different types of cendol here, covering the usual to added with pulut, kacang, durian and ice cream. Or quench your thirst with a cup of refreshing coconut shake (you can top it with a scoop of ice cream for a fraction of the price).

8) Satisfy Your Hunger Pangs at Kafe Kampung Kaw

Port Dickson has many good eateries and one of them has to be Kafe Kampung Kaw. This highly-rated cafe serves a wide range of mostly local dishes, covering mouthwatering options like Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng and their signature Nasi Lemak Kambing Bakar (they call it “Bakaw”). You can also find other familiar choices like fried rice, burgers and pizza at a reasonable price. Do note they only served from breakfast to lunch.
